In 2008, my life changed in an instant. During a long-distance bike ride, I was struck by a box truck. The impact left me with a fractured skull, a subdural hematoma, and multiple compound fractures that
required surgical reconstruction with titanium plates and screws. My survival was uncertain. Recovery became my full-time mission.
Despite almost dying—and enduring countless hours of physical therapy and strict nutritional protocols—I remained immunocompromised, falling ill six to seven times a year. This launched a four-year quest to understand the role of nutrient synergy in healing, immunity, and cellular resilience.
From Recovery to Regeneration
That journey led me deep into the Amazon jungle, where I began
studying superfoods like açaí in their native environment. It was there that I encountered the regenerative potential of plant bioactives. This eventually led to the creation of UB Super, a plant-based protein superfood nutritional shake enriched with organic vitamins, fulvic minerals, antioxidants, digestive enzymes, and probiotics.
UB Super became the foundation of my recovery—and I haven’t been sick since.
This evolution naturally progressed to the next phase of UB Super’s mission. In Brazil, select UB Super products are now classified as prescription-only and dispensed through medical professionals.

Inside-Out Science
The journey didn’t stop with skincare. In collaboration with our sister company, Integrated Molecular Therapeutics, we’re actively partnering with the Brazilian government to initiate clinical trials with a leading Contract Research Organization (CRO) focused on Alzheimer’s disease. These studies target inflammation and oxidative damage in the brain, the same foundational drivers of skin aging and systemic degeneration.
The data from these studies will inform the development of a new generation of nutraceuticals designed to work from the inside out.
